While pricing can vary based on training needs, tuition starts at $2,500 per year for each enrolled apprentice.

I’ve never worked in the trades before, how do i get into apprenticeship?

After apprentices enroll, a Machinists Institute staff member will reach out to coordinate class times that work with apprentices’ work schedules, availability, and the Training Center they are registered with. Typically, classes are one to two days per week, 3-4 hours per day, outside of work hours.

After submitting either the employer interest form or student interest form, we will reach out to discuss training needs and expectations. After employers sign on as Training Agents/employees submit their application packets, both employers and employees will be contacted about scheduling.
Classes are typically held at Machinists Institute's Training Centers, currently located in Everett, Tukwila, Spokane, and Vancouver. However, under certain circumstances classes can be held at your place of business, or even virtually as Machinists Institute continues to expand into new regions and develop new Training Centers.
