  1. Introduction to and carrying out duties pertaining to general shop safety, equipment maintenance, material handling, and shipping/receiving…….……500 hours

  2. Operate machine shop tools such as deburr tools, rotary tools, sanders, polishers, assemble and complete bench work……………………………………………..500 hours

  3. Read and interpret work orders/job plans regulations, work documentation, and shop math…………………………………………………………………………………………..300 hours

  4. Plan work processes, prepare part layout, machine set-ups, work holdings, tools, manage toolbox and tool room………………………………………………………..300 hours

  5. Safely perform manual milling, drilling, facing, boring, reaming, boring tapping, calculate speeds and feeds, control chatter and aggressive climb to

    expand the scope………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..1500 hours

  6. Set up and run CNC mill vertical & horizontal including start up, shut down, edit programs, maintain feeds and speeds, inspect parts……………………….1500 hours

  7. Set up and run manual lathe including drilling, turning, boring, knurling, facing, work support, manage tool interface……………………………………………………900 hours

  8. Set up and run CNC lathe single & multi-Spindle With/without live tooling, traditional & bar feed…………………………………………………………………………………..900 hours

  9. Set up and run additional machine types such as precision grinding, drilling, additive, water jet, laser jet……………………………………………………………………….600 hours
