As founding Executive Director of the Machinists Institute, Shana led the vision to build a better future for aerospace, manufacturing, automotive and machinist workers in our community through dedication to excellence in recruitment, education and training. In her new role as Director of Training and Apprenticeship for the IAM Union She is now taking that vision to the International level, creating the opportunity to serve IAM Union members through education and training across the US and Canada.   When not working she enjoys hiking, backpacking, and mountain biking with her husband and three sons and spending time with her 5 grandchildren.
