Jon Holden
IAM GENERAL VICE PRESIDENT
Machinists Institute Board of Directors
Since joining Aerospace Machinists District 751, more than 22 years ago, Jon Holden has continually served the union membership and worked his way up through the ranks holding many leadership positions along the way.
Almost immediately after joining 751 when he hired into Boeing’s Everett plant as a Materials Management Specialist, he became active – serving as Steward, chairing committees, and holding local lodge officer positions. Every step of the way he has kept the interests of the membership in the forefront and fought to provide a better quality of life for workers and members of the surrounding community.
Jon was elected District 751 President in March 2014, re-elected in 2016, and now serves as IAM General Vice President. He continues to represent tens of thousands of aerospace workers at Boeing and other suppliers, as well as other manufacturing industries.
Jon’s visionary leadership was a driving force in Machinists Institute’s creation, laying the path for education and training that keeps our workforce ahead of the curve in skill and ability to meet the ever-changing demands of the future.
