Russ Littleton

REGIONAL DIRECTOR,
GREATER PUGET SOUND

Russell is the Director of Regional Operations for Puget Sound at the Machinists Institute. In this role he provides mentorship and guidance to students, instructors, and industry partners to ensure that the training and apprenticeship program goals are reached. Russell is also a certified Aerospace Journeyman Machinist, Carbon Fiber Technician and Washington State educator.

Before arriving at the Machinists Institute, Russell was the Internship & Apprenticeship manager at Machinists Inc. He has also taught Manufacturing and Engineering at the Puget Sound Skills Center and worked as a machinist in the Seattle area for over 12 years. Before entering the manufacturing industry, Russell served his country for 6 years in the United States Navy as a Machinist’s Mate. He believes that the mission of the Machinists Institute is vital to the region’s continued success and is excited to help train the next generation of skilled workers.

Russell enjoys spending his free time cooking, working in the garden and attending shows and sporting events. He enjoys playing board games, camping, snowboarding and bowling.
